Weather Clerk Resume
Weather clerks are professionals in charge with the assembling and distribution of weather charts and weather related data to air transport companies, specifically to air transport dispatchers. The information that a weather clerk is providing for these companies is very important, because depending on it, the flight scheduling is made. Weather clerks need to have professional meteorological knowledge in order to be able to read and assemble charts and interpret information received through telegraph and telautograph from meteorological sites.
They provide weather reports, bulletins, maps and inform airplane pilots and commercial air transport companies through the flight crew bulletin board. The resume of a weather clerk should include the special trainings and knowledge in meteorology. A prior career as a weather observer is an advantage, since weather observers work more closely with meteorological concepts, procedures and instruments and have a more extensive insight in weather analysis. Previous work experience in the field is, obviously, a plus.
