Recruiter Resume

Every company has some human resources personnel, called recruiters. Recruiters help the organization to find the right candidates to fill up a vacant position. The job is not as easy as it looks like because in most firms recruiters have to work on target and find the right candidate within a stipulated time. They need to post the job ads and review them. Call the candidates for the interview; conduct an aptitude test and other tests as per the demands of the job. They also have to interview the candidate and select the right candidate for the job. The company's manager usually makes the final choice.

A recruiter should be able to gauge the candidate's potential within the first few minutes of meeting them or probably while talking to the candidate over the phone. Most companies would like to hire candidate on a long-term basis so it is the recruiter's duty to know if the candidate is also interested to build a career with the firm, and if he wishes to be a part of it. Recruiters should have a pleasing personality to welcome the candidate. In short, they represent the company for a novice. They should possess exceptional communication skills to begin a fruitful conversation and cross-question them when required. A recruiter's resume should be backed with the candidate skills to effectively perform all the above-mentioned duties.

Now that you have an idea of what it means to be a recruiter, let us see an example of how a resume for such a position should look like. This is only a basic example, and the candidate is required to personalize this resume to match the personal skills, experience, and abilities.

A recruiter has to possess a lot of knowledge in the domain they are hiring candidates for. For E.g., in the IT domain one should know what questions are to be put forward to know the candidates credentials. Nevertheless, a recruiter can work in any domain because with time they can polish their skill and recruit the most deserved candidate for any given job profile.
