Cemetery Manager Resume

A cemetery manager works under the direction and guidance from recreation superintendents, and perform maintenance activities, supervisory and administrative duties in efficient operation of the cemetery. A cemetery manager has the responsibility to supervise maintenance workers, to hire and train new personnel and evaluate their work, discipline staff when needed and assign work duties for them. The manager assists in developing the budget, making inventories of the departmental supplies, and handling client complaints. S/he also is responsible to ensure that records kept are accurate and include all receipts and accounts for plots that are being bought. The manager arranges for burials with families and locates graves for families, prepares grave sites for burial, puts imitation grass in place, fills graves, and places flowers on graves and also maintains cemetery grounds by repairing graves, applying fertilizers, installing sprinklers and clearing snow during winter.
