A gate service supervisor has the duty to supervise and direct the activities of workers who are in charge of admitting departing passengers to airplanes and to assist passengers at the terminal exit of commercial airlines. The gate service supervisors' job duties also include reviewing flight schedules, information received from staff, passenger manifests, ensuring that the staff meets the requirements, which provide passenger embarking and disembarking.


Also, they have the duty to assign personnel accordingly, to supervise workers that are engaged in providing services to passengers and ensure that their tasks are performed correctly and courteously.
